My Fair Lady closes the 2003-2004 season at McCarter. After it closes it will be transferring to Hartford Stage. | |
| The lower portion of the deck is standard platforming that is covered with palettes of parque flooring. The back wall consists of large light-boxes that are constructed out of MDF. The openings are covered in black scrim as well as white muslin. The lower center section is also a doorway. | ||
| The upper deck holds two 6' grand pianos. The pianos sit on a raised deck which in turn sits on the upper deck structure. This upper structure is constructed of 2x4 rectangular box steel. Framing is on 4' centers and the platforms sit on that. The back end of the deck is held up by 2x4 studwalls and the front by 4 metal posts, which go through the show deck and sit on the stage floor. | ||
